The Heritage Chapels operate almost exclusively on the good will of volunteers. We are keen to recruit more and welcome people who have a range of skills and experience, who may be able to help us in any way.
Volunteers are needed to help with hospitality, open days, events, education, fund raising, IT, ground maintenance, gardening, preserving our artefacts, cataloguing and maintaining the archive.
We welcome those with lots of life experiences, but are keen to also encourage young people to become part of our heritage team.
Evidence of volunteering looks great on a CV. It provides real life experience, enhancing the skills and knowledge, which are important when it comes to applying for jobs. Short term internships may be available in 2025. Whether you see your future employment being in the heritage and arts sector, hospitality, IT and communications, teaching or in building, decorating or general maintenance, we may be able to help you.
Volunteering also means that we may offer a range of community events and services and preserve the heritage chapels for future generations. Please contact us for more information.
